We are frequently asked questions about our Isak 4x4 Rental and have put together a list of questions that might help others who are looking into renting our vehicles. When is the office open? The office is open from 08:00–18:00 every week day. After opening hours and on weekends you can call the office number +354 544 8860. |

Can I return the car outside of opening hours? Yes |

Can I drive myself or do I need to rent a guide with me? ISAK 4x4 Rental is like every other car rental, individuals can rent the Jeep on their own. If you however prefer to have a guide with you we can arrange this for you through our sister company Isafold Travel. |

Can I cross deep rivers? The renter is on his own responsability through out the renting time. - Vehicle are never insured in water. The cost that may occurre because of damages in water, river and sea falls in every way on the renter of the vehicle. -We reccommend that people go not deeper into water , rivers or sea then upto the stigabretti of the Jeep when crossing. It also has to be kept in mind how much the stream is. |

Can I buy extra insurance to lower the self risk? Yes you can. To lower the self risk from EUR 2.500.- to EUR 800.- per vehicle you can pay an extra insurance for EUR 40.- per day per vehicle. This needs to be paid before receiving the vehicle. |

Where and when am I not insured? The vehicles are never insured if the driver causes damages to the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The vehicles is never insured in anykind of water, damages caused my sand storm or damages under the vehicle, for excample tires and wheels. The insurance company for the rental can refuse to pay the damages if it shows that the driver that caused the damages was negligence in his/her driving |

Do I need to have heavy vehicle driver licence to drive the jeep? No you don´t, but to be able to rent the Jeep you need to have reach the age of 25 years. |

Do you offer emergency breakdown assistant? Yes, we offer 24/7 emergency breakdown assistance which means you can call our emergency line every day, 24 hours a day. Assistance through telephone is free but cost of assistance depends on your location, severity of the problem and other factors. Assistance cost is estimated during the call. |

What does the rental price include? The rental price includes 300 km per day, 25,5% VAT tax and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). Please read our terms and condition before renting the Jeep. |

When do i need to pay for the rental? A deposit of 10% of the rental price is required within 7 days from confirmation of a booking if not agreed differently. Full payment of the rental must be made 4 weeks before arrival. |

What kind of payment do you require? A valid credit card in the main driver's name is required to reserve and rent the vehicle. For all rentals (also prepaid) an imprint of a credit card is required as a guaranty. An authorization of EUR 2.500,- from a major credit card will be taken at the start of all rentals as a deposit even if the cost of the rental is covered by a voucher. This deposit may be used to cover the self risk EUR 2.500,- and any extra charges such as fuel, extra kilometre and traffic fines. No rentals can take place without the main driver having a major credit card present. Acceptable credit cards are: Mastercard and Visa. |
