The Company

The 4x4 rental Isak Ltd. was established on Midsummer Day 2007. The vision behind the company is to offer people the opportunity to rent and drive a fully modified and equipped 4x4’s in Iceland, individually or as a part of a convoy tour. The owners are in even shares Mr. Sigfus B. Sigfusson and Isafold Ltd. The company is operated in close connection with the fully licensed tour operator Isafold Travel, which provides customers with tailor made tours, involving on request the ISAK-vehicles and further services like various activities, food and accommodation.

The owners of Isak Ltd. are aware of the responsibility of causing increased CO2 emissions by the activity connected to their company.  Therefore a certain amount (ISK 500,- pr. vehicle pr. day) is in even amounts used to support Iceland New Energy Ltd. for research of alternative fuels in Iceland (mainly Hydrogen), and to offset the Carbon emitted by the efficient engines of our Land Rovers. It's done by supporting tree planting in Iceland through the Tree Planting Fond of Kolviður.
