The vehicles of the company Isak Ltd. are rented out both to individuals or to groups for guided convoy tours under the brand name Udrive, using the long range VHF radios and private channels for internal contact between the individual vehicles. Individual rental of these vehicles during winter is though limited to people with special knowledge of driving in Iceland in the winter time.

We at Isak Ltd. are concerned about your safety and wellbeing and never let anyone “take off” on an ISAK without having got introduced to Isak’s safety & handling instructions.  The driver(s) always should be familiar with the major items of safety and other practical instructions. Here you can inform yourselves about the basic safety instructions.  A handbook with these instructions and more info regarding the rental is in each vehicle.

A general driving license and the minimal age of 25 years is required for to rent an ISAK. Every vehicle has a full passenger insurance and a CDW insurance, limited by the normal terms and conditions regarding driving behavior, and the non-negotiable self risk of € 2.000,-. Where Isafold Travel or another tour agency is operating a convoy tour, still the company, club or individuals renting the ISAKs are responsible for the vehicle as a renter.

The head quarters of Isak Ltd are in Sudurhraun 2B, 210-Gardabaer, close to the border of Hafnarfjordur, a suburb in the southern part of the Greater Reykjavik Area.  Here we also clean and maintain the vehicles in the well equipped garage-hall.
